1. This variety of bhut jolokia is known as Roja bhut. The fruits are very large in size, surface of skin is rough, base portion is broader and gradually cone shaped. The plant mainly has two fruits per node. The length of fruit is approximately 6.5 to 7 cm and fruit width at shoulder is 3 to 3.5 cm. The average weight of fruit is 5 to 6 gram. The young dark green coloured fruits turn dark red at maturity.
