The Launching Meeting of DBT's recently initiated programme on “Establishment of Biotech Labs in Sr. Secondary Schools (BLiSS)” will be held at College of Veterinary Science, AAU, Khanapara, Guwahati on December 01, 2015. The meeting is expected to be attended by a total of around 180 participants (Principals & Coordinators) from 88 BLiSS centres of the Northeastern states including Sikkim. In addition, a team of officials from the DBT including Adviser Dr. T. Madhan Mohan along with a team of experts will also attend the meeting. The Directors of Higher Education Depts. of the NE States have also been invited to attend the meeting. All the Coordinators of Biotech Hubs are hereby requested to intimate the respective Coordinators of the BLiSS centres at various schools for which they are serving as mentors about the meeting and advice them to participate in the same along with the Principals. |
