About the Salient Achievements of the Department:   Department of Veterinary Microbiology is a constituent department of College of Veterinary Sciences & AH, Central Agricultural University, located at Selesih, Aizawl, Mizoram. The department is engaged with UG (BVSc&AH), PG (MVSc in Veterinary Microbiology) and Ph. D. degree programme. The department is also involved with quality research in veterinary sciences and extension work for dissemination of technology to the end users. Presently, ~5 students are on roll in post graduate degree programme in the department. The department is running 4 externally funded research programmes. The department is organized 1 winter school of 21 days duration, 1 short course of 10 days duration and 3 short courses of 4 days duration in different updated microbiological techniques to the faculty members, field veterinarians and research scholars in last 5 years.
