About the Salient Achievements of the Department:   A total of 38 students have so far complete M.V.Sc from the Department. Students are regularly clearing NET examination and 10 students have so far cleared ICAR NET and 3 students have cleared UGC NET/JRFexaminations. In its innovative academic pursuit the Department is working towards:-  Creating an immune belt around the National Parks, Wildlife Sanctuaries and designated forests by providing yearly mass vaccination of livestock and poultry  Creation of awareness relating to contemporary crisis among fringe villagers regarding forest and environment  Training on improved Animal Husbandry Practices All these are done with UG senior students.
