About the Salient Achievements of the Department:   • In 2011, the Journal of Department of Biotechnology, “BIOTECH” has been assigned ISSN (ISSN-2230-9098) from NISCAIR, New Delhi. • One student from first batch of B.Sc in Biotechnology, Honours got 2nd rank in TDC examination, 2011 under Assam University, Silchar.
