Other Activities (e.g., National/International Conferences, Symposia, Seminar, etc. organized during the last 10 years):   The Department has organized the following seminars/conferences in collaboration with Dept. of Botany and IQAC of the College: i. Regional seminar on “Biodiversity: Herbal Medicine” on 6th August, 2006. ii. National Seminar on “Biodiversity: Herbal Medicine” on the 20th and 21st, September 2007. iii Regional Seminar on “Environmental Problems: Extinction of Biological Species in NE India” on the 17th September, 2009. iv. National Conference on “Cimnate Change: Potential Environmental Apocalypse: Human Ethics in Question” on the 7th and 8th October, 2010. The Department also organizes seminars for Honours students every year.
