About the Salient Achievements of the Department:   Botany Department was establish since the birth of the college in 1980 and introduced honours in 1986, and produced more then 1000 honours students in the rural area of this college. Botany Department has under taken a significant effort to enhance education, research and training through carrier oriantation cources (Mushroom Cultivation, Watershed Management). Many teachers have undertaker Minor and Major Research Projects in the related fields.
