About the Salient Achievements of the Department:   Established in 1975, the Department has contributed a lot towards teaching and research in different aspects of infectious diseases in livestock and poultry including zoonotic diseases. At present, 17 research projects funded by various funding agencies like ICAR, DST, DBT etc. are being implemented in the department.
