Dera Natung Govt. College, Itanagar is the lone government college established in the capital city of Arunachal Pradesh. This institute was established in 1979 and second oldest institute of higher learning in the state and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University (a central University). As of today, it has highest number of students(=6500) enrolment in the state. The college offers UG courses in Humanities, Commerce & Basic Science. The college has been graded B+ by NAAC and Re-accredited in December, 2011-12 (Grade-B) successfully.
