About the Institution:
The Kamakhya Pemton College is located in a rural area at Hiyangthang under Imphal West District and Wangoi Subdivision of Manipur State which caters only to the Under- graduate education. The college is looking forward to introduce B. Sc. Biotechnology as well as other applied Sciences. The Kamakhya Pemton College is a Private Undergraduate Institution recognized by the UGC under Section 2(f) & 12 (b) of the UGC, Act, 1956. The college is co-education type of Education. Many of the teachers have undertaken UGC Minor Research Projects in the related areas of Biology, Science and Arts Subjects as per details mentioned above. Science students including that of Botany, Zoology, Chemistry and Physics are also undergoing Short Term Research Projects without any sorts of Scholarship.
