Bongaigaon Rly. HS School is one of the premier Provincialised Senior Secondary School in the area offering study of courses prescribed by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam and +2 Level Science Course of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council. The secondary part was established in the year-1948 and was upgraded to Senior Secondary (English Medium) Level with Science Stream in the year 1979. Since its inception , the school is performing nicely to the satisfaction of the people of the locality. The school enrolls about 60+60 students in +2 level Science and every year showing excellent result with more than 95% pass result. The School has well-equipped Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Computer Science Lab and the BLiSS sponsored Biotechnology Laboratory.
