Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya( JNV ),Dhing ,Nagaon was established in the year of 2006.Like all other JNVs ,this Vidyalaya also is a residential school under the MHRD, Govt.of India. This school runs as per the directions of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti which is an autonomous body with its Head Quarter located at Noida, New Delhi and Regional Office at Shillong .This is a co-educational school starting from class VI to class XII with Science and Humanities both the streams at senior secondary level and aims at all round development of the students. This Vidyalaya follows the curriculum framed by NCERT and follows the norms of CBSE. Admission of the students is done as per the JNVST rules under the strict monitoring of CBSE. Education provided to the children is free of cost with a nominal fees for the OBC and General category students above the poverty line.
