About the School:
Khoirabari Higher Secondary School is situated in undivided Darrang district and presently it belongs to Udalguri district under BTAD, Assam. The school was established in 1954 in the area which is economically and educationally backward. The area is tribal dominated and majority of the students belongs to ST and some fraction belongs to SC and OBC. The school was upgraded to Higher Secondary with arts in 01-10-1978 and thereafter Science stream was provincialised by the Govt. of Assam in 27-03-1996. Now it is the only pioneer institute imparting Higher Seconary Science course under Assam Higher Secondary Education Council between Udalguri and Mangaldai. Now the school completed 60years since inception and during this period the contribution of the institute considered to be significant. Khoirabari Higher secondary is running Higher Seconary Science course with Physics, Chemistry, Biology , Mathematics and Geography.
