About the School:   Moran Higher Secondary School is situated at Moran town of Sivsagar district. Since 1940 this school has been contributing much to the field of education. This school is one of the biggest school in Assam with about 2000 (two thousand) students, of which more than 900 (nine hundred) students are in senior secondary section with four streams, viz. Science, Arts, Commerce and Vocational. The strength of teaching staff is 58 (fifty eight). It is to be noted that Moran H.S. School was adjudged to be one of the hundred best schools in the year 2013 by “Engineering Watch”. The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council also adjudged this school to be third among top five H.S. Schools of the state. In spreading Science education, Moran H.S. School has contributed much as a large number of students from the nearby rural areas get Science education in this school. Every year about 100 (Hundred) students passed Higher Secondary in Science Stream with a bright result. No student in Science stream has failed for last seven year.
