About the School:
Tamenglong Government Higher Secondary School is located in the heart of Tamenglong District Head Quarter. This District is one of the 6(six) Hills districts of Manipur. The School is 150km away from the state capital. It was established in the year 1954 as a High School. It was upgraded to Higher Secondary School in the year 1965. Since then it has been providing education for both girls and boys in Science as well as Arts Streams till date. The School has a large campus, pucca building of two storeys. It has sufficient rooms for taking classes and laboratory establishment for Science subjects.
