About the School:
Tamphasana Girls’ Hr Sec School is a premier institute imparting education exclusively to girls since its establishment in 1935. Today, it is a full-fledged Government School affiliated to the Council of Hr. Secondary Education, Manipur. Since 1999, it has only Classes XI and XII imparting education in the Science, Arts and Commerce streams. Till date the school has to its credit of being one of the few Hr. secondary schools in Manipur achieving great heights in the field of education by producing position holders in all three streams every year. Students of the science stream have participated in Science Meets conducted by the Directorate of Education(S) and have bagged many prizes representing the state at the regional level Science Meets at Kolkata.
