About the School:
The Tengkongjang Higher Secondary Schools is a fully fledged Government Higher Secondary School. The Hr. Sec. School is co-education type of Education and located in the hilly area under Tamenglong District, 63 Km far from Imphal City. The Tengkongjang Hr. Sec. School is established in 1968 as Junior High School then upgraded High School in 1979 and upgraded in the position of Higher Secondary School in 1996 as a Full fledged Government Higher Secondary School. Around 800 students were studying in different Classes but in the XI & XII Science only 400 students were studying and they will be benefitted this Lab. The Tengkongjang Hr. Sec. School is the only School in the Tamenlong District which is provided special lecture programme on Biotechnology in coordination with Advanced Institutional Level Biotech Hub of Manipur.
