About the School:
Govt. Zemabawk Higher Secondary School was established in the year 2000 with Arts stream only. Science Stream was introduced in 2006. The area of the school campus is about 10 acres and has a placid environment for studies and recreation. It is the only public school offering Science subject in the whole of Aizawl East and North 1 Assembly constituencies. Located in the outskirt of the city, the school caters to the needs of students from the outskirts as well as nearby villages. It provides education to many Below Poverty Line students. The school thus play an important role in the development of Science & Technology in this region and provides a platform for the poor urban population.
