Dear Editor,

Through this letter I would like to thank the team of BioNE for their contribution towards the scientific community. I strongly feel that an online journal like BioNE is a need of the time for the students, teachers and researchers to enrich their knowledge on the respective subjects to which they are engaged.

North Eastern India is a land rich in flora and fauna and is a home to many diversified organisms, plants and animals. Study at the molecular level of these organisms for various aspects and bringing them to a platform having community of a common interest would be really beneficial to the animal as well as human society. I do feel the journal will certainly open up many aspects of researches in many untouched areas.

I wish success to the team involved with the journal.

We know that the North Eastern region of India is a biodiversity hotspot. So the e-zine “BioNE” is a wonderful step by the group of BABRONE, CVSc, AAU, Khanapara, Guwahati to share the biological issues of this region.

As per the saying, “Reading is to the mind, as exercise is to the body”. Thus reading this magazine regularly will not only enrich our intellectual capacity, but will also promote reading habit among the student community. The topics shared here will surely help all the readers to the utmost.
