Dear Editor,

At the outset, I would like to congratulate the team of “BioNE” for its successful completion.

The Northeast India, which is known for its rich cultural heritage, also serves as one of the biodiversity hotspots of the country. Due to such rich biodiversity, various research projects are being carried out and “BioNE” provides a great platform for every budding researcher to publish the results of their study. These popular articles help other researchers as well as students to gain knowledge on the rich assets of this region, and provide the latest information which will help them in their future studies.

As quoted by Arthur C. Aufderheide, “All knowledge is connected to all other knowledge. The fun is in making the connections.” BioNE (initiated by Team BABRONE CVSc, AAU, Khanapara, Guwahati) is the perfect platform for researchers around the globe to share their findings with other researchers and students. Almost everyone has access to internet nowadays, right in their hands, which makes this e-zine available to everyone. From students to research scholars, everyone can easily access the e-zine and can follow all the various discoveries and inventions around the North-East region which makes it very useful.

Yours sincerely,

Dear Editor,

Science is the path of building knowledge about the universe. Scientific knowledge is useful for all types of things and for making new ideas that enlighten the world around us. Advances in science and new research as well as discoveries lead us to a platform where the world gets appropriate solutions for many previously unresolved problems. North East India and Assam are rich in resources and biodiversity, and therefore many scientific studies and documentations are done here. Several scientific researches are done on the basis of the traditional practices adopted by local population of North Eastern region by using bio-resources of this region in the field of health and other areas also.

BioNE (initiated by Team BARBONE CVSc, AAU, Khanapara, Guwahati) is exploring new discoveries in different areas of science, opinions and reports about science and introduces us with the world of new discoveries. The knowledge imparted through the articles published in the e-zine meet the requirements for all kinds of people like scientists, non-scientist and students. BioNE is serving as an asset for researchers from all over the country who can share their knowledge regarding their research with the people.  The plethora of special collections of valuable articles published in the e-megazine BioNE uplift students avidity towards involvement in research. Communicating science to the public is extremely important in today’s society and BioNE is successful in showing the directions to the scientific world and illuminate our minds by introducing and revealing unknown facts to us. It is sure that BioNE will have direct and obvious impact on influencing students across India towards the world of science and motivate them by enhancing their curious minds by giving ideas and information.

I wish to extend my deep appreciation and heartfelt congratulations to all those who have so generously volunteered and give their precious time to complete every issue of BioNE. I hope and strongly believe the upcoming issues will introduce more and more aspects of understanding research to the readers. I will be eagerly waiting for the next issue.

Yours sincerely,
